This hair band should be used continuously for approximately 1 week. Afterwards, it is recommended to use it while sleeping at night for 2-3 weeks. In addition, the ear should not be pulled forward, backward and upward and should not be bent for the first few weeks after the operation. During this period, it is necessary to avoid wearing tight-fitting sweaters that may damage the ear. You can take a bath 5-6 days after the otoplasty operation. However, after bathing, the back of the ear should be carefully dried and should not be left wet. After the tampons are removed after the operation, some swelling and redness may be seen above the ear. This is quite normal and will disappear in a short time. After the operation, antibiotics and painkillers are prescribed. These medicines should be used regularly. Resting for 3 days after surgery is also very important. It is also not recommended to wear earrings or glasses for 1 month. If these recommendations are applied, the healing process will take place faster.
